Privacy Policy

ARETEKIT is built so that what you write stays with you. This policy explains the little we do process, and why.

The short version

You do not need an account. We do not ask for your name or email to use our tools.
The thoughts, tasks and plans you write in our tools are saved in your own browser. They are not sent to us, and we cannot read them.
Our hosting provider processes basic technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site.

Your thoughts, tasks, weekly plans, language and display settings are stored with your browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). This data stays on your device.
It does not sync between devices or browsers. Clearing your browser data, or using private browsing, can remove it. Use the export feature to keep a backup.
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Hosting and security. The site is served through Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Visit statistics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you. We only see totals, such as how many people visited a page.
PLUS purchases. PLUS is an optional one-time purchase. When purchasing becomes available, payment is handled by a third-party payment provider named on the checkout page. We receive only what is needed to issue and verify your license (for example, your email address, order number and license key). We never receive your full card details. When you activate PLUS, your license key is sent to our server to confirm it is valid.

To deliver the site, keep it secure, understand overall usage so we can improve our tools, and provide and support PLUS licenses.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, content delivery, security and privacy-first analytics). Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical data may be processed outside your country.
A payment provider for PLUS purchases, which will be named at checkout once sales open.

Data in your browser stays until you delete it.
Purchase and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires (in Korea, generally five years for records of payment and supply of goods or services), then deleted.
Technical logs kept by Cloudflare follow Cloudflare's retention periods.

You can delete everything you wrote at any time with the reset feature in each tool, or by clearing your browser data.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you (for example, purchase records), or to stop processing it. Email [email protected] and we will respond without undue delay.

Our tools are not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date below. For significant changes, we will give notice on the site.
