RESEARCH-INFORMED DESIGN

Remember less. Plan more clearly.

A simple workflow informed by cognitive science.

01 · Put memory outside your head

Research on cognitive offloading explores how external tools such as notes can reduce memory demands. Capture thoughts first, then decide what to do.

02 · Give unfinished tasks a plan

Experiments suggest that making specific plans can reduce intrusive thoughts associated with unfinished goals. Use the next action and starting cue fields to make a concrete plan.

03 · Keep the next step small

Three priorities and 5, 15 or 25-minute sessions are practical design choices, not scientifically proven ideal numbers. Adjust the time to suit the task.

How automatic sorting works

Press Enter to create a numbered ball. Shift + Enter adds a new line. Each nonempty line becomes a separate ball. A click opens its details. Hold and drag to move it into a category cup; you can also choose a cup in the details panel.

Numbers stay in capture order. Drag between cups to move a thought. Drag into today’s three to add a copy: the original stays in its cup and turns red. Use × to remove the copy and restore the original color. Task-list suggestions consider deadlines, importance and estimated time.

The app itself has not been clinically tested. Language changes translate the interface, not your notes.

Start with an empty mind?

This permanently deletes all thoughts in every cup, completed tasks, trash and your draft. Ball numbers restart at 1. Your language stays the same. Export a backup first if you want to keep your thoughts. This also deletes weekly plans, timer records, routines and reflections. Your purchase access stays.
